How long before I receive a response?
Within 24 hours of receiving your executed Standard Engagement Agreement, Hinshaw & Culbertson will advise you on how to potentially avoid or, at least, mitigate your liability exposure.
How often can I use the hotline?
Once you have executed a Standard Engagement Agreement with Hinshaw & Culbertson, you may use the hotline whenever necessary.
What if I am involved in a matter outside of Hinshaw & Culbertson's jurisdiction or expertise?
Hinshaw & Culbertson will refer you to local or specialty counsel through Zurich's nationwide network of counsel lawyers and firms.
Once I use the service, is Zurich notified?
No. Once the Engagement Letter has been received your firm has an attorney-client relationship with Hinshaw & Culbertson. As with any attorney client relationship, your communications with Hinshaw & Culbertson are strictly confidential.
How much does it cost to use the service?
The Lawyers Loss Prevention Hotline Service is provided at no additional cost to Zurich policyholders.
If I'm not paying for it, who is?
Zurich pays all of Hinshaw & Culbertson's fees for hotline services, as well as for any hotline services rendered by a firm Hinshaw & Culbertson may refer you to.
